Non-basmati rice is a broad trade category covering rice varieties outside the basmati designation. It is not a single variety or uniform specification; buyers should identify the desired grain type, origin, processing and quality parameters.

General wholesale rice distribution, retail packing, catering, institutional supply and food manufacturing according to the selected variety.

Confirm exact variety and origin; grain class; milling degree; whole/broken ratio; moisture; foreign matter; damaged and chalky kernels; sensory condition; infestation and destination-specific documentation. Final acceptance limits should be agreed in writing and verified against the supplier specification and batch certificate of analysis. General rice quality references include the FAO/WHO Codex Standard for Rice and the USDA Rice Inspection Handbook; requirements vary by grade and destination.

Export sacks or other supplier-confirmed food-grade formats; specify bag weight, labelling, palletisation and loading. Confirm net weight, packaging material, food-contact suitability, labelling, palletisation, loading and storage conditions before order confirmation.

For a tailored wholesale offer, send the exact rice type and grade, quantity, destination, packing requirements and preferred Incoterm. Availability, origin, specifications, documents, lead time and commercial terms are confirmed in the written quotation.
