Red rice and black rice are specialty categories whose pigmentation and grain characteristics vary by variety. They may be offered as whole-grain or differently milled products; red and black rice should not be treated as one uniform specification, so state which type is required.

Specialty retail packs, whole-grain assortments, premium food-service menus and food manufacturing where the selected rice type is suitable.

Specify red or black type and variety; whole-grain or milled form; colour consistency; grain dimensions; broken ratio; moisture; foreign matter; sensory condition; infestation and lot documentation. Final acceptance limits should be agreed in writing and verified against the supplier specification and batch certificate of analysis. General rice quality references include the FAO/WHO Codex Standard for Rice and the USDA Rice Inspection Handbook; requirements vary by grade and destination.

Moisture-protective food-grade packaging; confirm separate identification for red and black varieties, pack weight, labelling and loading plan. Confirm net weight, packaging material, food-contact suitability, labelling, palletisation, loading and storage conditions before order confirmation.

For a tailored wholesale offer, send the exact rice type and grade, quantity, destination, packing requirements and preferred Incoterm. Availability, origin, specifications, documents, lead time and commercial terms are confirmed in the written quotation.
